How RPG mindset could make you successful at life

Back when I was a kid, I love playing video games. I played countless days and nights, up to a point my parents have to lock my console. There’s one genre I particularly enjoyed, and that’s Role-Playing Games (RPG). I could easily spend hundreds of hours on a single title. (Unrelated, just saying I’m a great fan of Final Fantasy and Witcher series!)

In case you don’t know what RPG is, It’s a game which players assume the roles of characters in fictional settings (cited from Wikipedia). So to me, it’s like reading a novel but I can develop the characters so they can overcome the obstacles and let the story flow.

I love RPG, and I play to win. I ensure my characters have unleashed their full potential so that they can prevail in the story, and I believe that’s what makes the game so fun and addictive. That’s the mindset I have when I play an RPG, and slowly, I realized the RPG mindset is incredibly helpful for ou G personal development.

If I am willing to devote so much time and effort to some virtual characters, then why don’t I make good use of the passion in reality? This mindset shift is mind-blowing. Whenever I feel procrastinating, I remind myself that I’m the only character that I’ll have 100% control of, and that instantly fuels me up with…
